– Tenisom sam počela da se bavim zbog Monike Seleš. Ona je bila moj idol. Dopadao mi se njen agresivan nastup na terenu, a zbog činjenice da je i ona iz Srbije mogla sam da se poistovetim sa njom i da verujem da ću i ja biti jednako uspešna. Poštujem Monikinu borbu za prava žena u teniskom svetu, koji je danas tu gde jeste i njenom zaslugom. Kasnije sam počela da se upoznajem i sa ostalim stvarima koje profesionalno bavljenje sportom nosi. Između ostalog, publicitet i pažnja medija. Polako sam uviđala da se moj profesionalni život ne bazira samo na tenisu. Ali ugledam se na Meril Strip, Džesiku Albu i Blejk Lajvli. To su izuzetno uspešne žene, kojima je pošlo za rukom da uprkos karijeri zadrže privatni život unutar svoja četiri zida i budu cenjene zbog onoga što jesu. Njima se zaista divim.
